Qualified Primary Teacher – KS1 (Year 2) – Hemel Hempstead

Position Overview

Are you a committed and enthusiastic Qualified Primary Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Hemel Hempstead? We are seeking an experienced or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Hemel Hempstead, teaching Year 2 students within the Key Stage 1 (KS1) framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the KS1 national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, tailoring teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and participate in school initiatives.
• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to support student development.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status.
• Experience teaching KS1, particularly Year 2, is desirable but not essential.
• A thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment strategies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a passion for education.
• Ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in young learners.
